Description :
As a consultant in the space practice of the company you will participate in research and consulting activities regarding space markets and industry players with a focus on the North American market.
Responsibilities include in particular:
- Monitor market and industry trends in the space sector, especially on the North American market
- Develop and manage economic databases covering supply/demand metrics on space markets and industries, especially on the North American market
- Participate in consulting assignments for government and industry organizations regarding market analysis and forecast, strategic analysis and support to government policies.
- Participate in drafting proposals in response to RFPs from public and private organizations
- Participate in the development of research reports on the space industry
- Contribute to the marketing & promotion of research reports in collaboration with the marketing team
- All other related duties
Candidate Profile :
Academic Qualifications:
- Master degree or equivalent in engineering and/or economics
Professional Experience:
- 5 years experience in the space industry in a private or public sector organization covering functions of business development, market intelligence or strategic planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge of market and industry environment of the North American space sector
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing market and industry issues of the space sector in support of corporate executives
- Demonstrated understanding of space technology trends
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing economic/financial models and/or industry databases
- Experience in an international environment is preferred
Skills:
- Strong analytical capabilities: proven ability to assess economic and industry trends and to conduct clear and concise analytical work
- Understanding corporate processes and methodologies: our company has developed respected processes and methodologies when performing research and consulting activities which have to be understood and applied by our consultants
- Languages: Excellent English writing with proven track record. Demonstrated capabilities in another language is an asset
- Personal skill sets: ability to work in an international and multicultural environment; ability to work in autonomy; team player; respect of corporate values; ability to commit and deliver results to clients
